2019 Weddings at a Glance

2018/2019 were two big years for weddings for me. There was a TON of growth both professionally, and personally- and honestly it was a time where I found my style and the way I wanted to document these bride and grooms big days.

I have always believed that photographs shouldn’t just be posed, but they should show the genuine moment. And I strive to paint a picture of the entire day- even the little moments that don’t seem important at the time but help tell the story in full. THOSE are the moments we all cherish the most! So lets take a look back at some of these incredible weddings. Some were weddings I was asked to second shoot at, but most were beautiful stories I was honored to document myself.

Jackie and Sean got married at ASU Kerr Cultural Center, and the pictures really tell the whole story of the day. Jackie had the most beautiful first look with her dad full of tears- and yes I cried along with them!

Their day was filled with so many loved ones and friends, and their ceremony had the sweetest vows I have EVER heard at a wedding! Their day was so special to me in so many ways, and I can’t wait to see what their future holds together!

Second Shot with T. Marie Photography at the Ice House in downtown Phoenix. It was seriously a dream of a wedding!

Erin and Rochelle’s wedding was one I will never forget. Rochelle found out she had breast cancer a month or two before the wedding, and underwent a double mastectomy soon before the wedding. Although she was still healing she pushed through, and the wedding day was emotional in SO many ways. You could tell that Erin was no stranger to the in sickness and in health part of the vows, and Rochelle had the best reaction when she came down the aisle.

These two started their marriage in one of the hardest times of their life, and I just know that they can get through anything life throws at them. And in case you were wondering- yes, I cried more than I care to admit behind my camera!

Maria and Stephen chose to elope in the desert with a few of their closest friends and family. IT WAS MAGICAL! They honored Maria’s late dad, had the sweetest vows for each other, and we all shed tears before the ceremony ended.

The last hour of light we did couples portraits and they were solely focused on each other and the fact that they were now husband and wife. Also they had the most amazing arch by I Do Rentals AZ which complimented the desert perfectly.

They are now expecting a sweet little boy in 2020, and I can’t wait to watch their family grow!

This shoot was actually a styled shoot in partnership with a ton of amazing vendors at Gather Estate! I Do Rentals AZ did the incredible pampas grass arch and all of the florals you see there. Amour De Sucre provided some delicious treats along with Decadent Macaroon. Lauren Yvonne Designs provided a gorgeous invitation suite with place cards. The dress was provided by A Dressy Occasion, and our models did an amazing job loving on each other! We can’t forgot the hair and makeup team that made our model look amazing- Ella Clare Hair and Yolanda Lake for make up.

This shoot was one that will be hard to top!

Eurice and Jamal were married in the sweetest church ceremony, followed by a reception at Villa Tuscana. This venue had the most beautiful greenery and floral wall, and we spent an hour just enjoying the fact that they were finally going to share the same last name.

Their bridal party was SO fun and danced all night long! And these cuties just welcomed a new addition to their blended family! So excited to watch all of my sweet couples families grow!

Second Shot with T. Marie Photography (AND THEY BROUGHT THEIR DOGS!) You can bet I was so excited to see this wedding unfold!

This was another styled shoot held at the BEAUTIFUL Venue at the Grove. This venue has incredible trees all around the property, and it is the green dream you can only find in the desert!

Sweet Saguaro coordinated the decor, while Amour De Sucre graced us with a gorgeous marble cake. Material Girls Weddings provided us with the best tablescape (marble themed of course) and the venue speaks for itself! This shoot was such a dream (and published several times including a magazine appearance in Premier Weddings Magazine).

Heather and Kevin got married at Pioneer Village Historic Center near Anthem, AZ and it was a rustic dream! Their first look was SO sweet and included a butt pinch before he turned around to see his beautiful bride to be. And Heather spent the morning getting ready with her bride tribe!

They chose to get married in the cutest white chapel at the venue, and Kevin couldn’t take his eyes off of her the whole ceremony. The bubble exit was a huge hit when they left the church as well!

Brielle and Dillon got married at Oasis at Wild Horse Ranch in Tucson and it was every bit as green as it was filled with love! The girls popped champagne while getting ready, and Dillon even shed a tear or two during the vows (lets be honest we all shed tears at the amount of love and the honoring of Brielle’s late mother).

The sunset was absolutely perfect on their big day and their couples portraits show their adoration for eachother in the best way!

I cannot wait to see what my brides and grooms bring for 2020 but these past few years will be so hard to top (and this isn’t even all of the magic and love created- just a few)! Thank you guys for continuing to trust me to document one of the biggest days of your lives. I am SO honored always!
