Erin and Rochelle were married at the Desert Botanical Gardens in Phoenix, AZ on a perfect March day.
Erin started the day getting ready in a private room with her sisters and mom, complete with lots of hugs and twirling. Rochelle got ready in a room across the way with her parents and bridal party. They exchanged the sweetest letters to each other printed on the cutest stationary, and you could just feel the love oozing from their vows as they read separately.
When the ceremony came time Rochelle couldn’t wait to see her soon to be wife walking down the aisle. There were tears from the whole bridal party and Erin couldn’t help but smile as she walked down the aisle with her dad. This was an especially big day as Rochelle had just had a double mastectomy weeks before the wedding due to an early breast cancer diagnosis. The vows to be there in both sickness and health were something they knew all too well and it truly bonded them in a way that you could feel throughout the whole day.
The reception had tables lined with greenery and beautiful linens, and the tables had such a feeling of community and togetherness. The dessert table was the real show stopper though! There was everything from peanut butter cookies, cake, and little smores desserts that were seriously to die for!
The bride’s first dance was magical. Rochelle teared up looking into her new wife’s eyes and they twirled each other around the dance floor to the sweetest song! And after the first dances and the speeches the party really got started. There was even a N’sync throwback played where Erin and her sisters gave us what I can only describe as a music video all in itself. There were group dances and laughs shared the rest of the night, truly completing the most magical day!
