This session was one of the biggest honors I’ve been asked to shoot as a photographer, and I cried right along side everyone in the courtroom this day. IT WAS BEAUTIFUL!
Adrienne and Nikki reached out to me a few weeks before their court hearing to document two new additions to their family. They adopted two of the sweetest little souls, and you could feel the amount of love the minute I met them!
Waiting to enter the courtroom we were unsure if we would be able to document the proceedings but the judge was so generous and it was incredible to document. Adrienne and Nikki were praised on their parenting (which from just one time meeting them you could tell they were amazing parents), they held hands as they were granted the adoption, and I’m pretty sure we all cried.
I have documented countless weddings, but this was a different feeling completely. In a courthouse that doesn’t always have the happiest of endings THIS was a win, this was such a huge win! They are now a family of 5 and I just know this family is going to do amazing things.
