Are you ready to see an adventurous engagement session at the Salt River?! Because this one has easily become one of my favorites! When Amanda reached out about her wedding day she stressed how important location was to them for these photos. And it should be! These photos will be family heirlooms in the future.
We first planned for an engagement session at a creek in Cave Creek, but in true AZ fashion the creek was dry by the time of the photos. So we quickly pivoted and found a gorgeous spot at the Salt River. Amanda brought 2 outfits and both were perfect for the desert. One was a cute, more formal white dress. And the other was a cozy sweater with the most adorable knee high boots. They absolutely made this session complete!
We shot until we had no light left, and they went with every crazy posing idea I had. Which if you have ever shot with me you know it always turns out cuter than it feels! They crushed their engagement photos, and we all left feeling even more excited for their big day!
