Are you ready for this Adventurous Elopement in the Grand Tetons? Wyoming literally blew us away with their insane views for this epic elopement! Kristy and Mike love to adventure and hike. Naturally they chose the Tetons to slip away and elope with just a few friends and family members. I am ALWAYS honored to be the chosen photographer for any wedding- but this one was close to my heart. I’ve known Mike since he played hockey in high school with my brother, and Kristy and I met shortly after high school. These two are seriously a match made in heaven.
They rented an Air BNB where we took most of the getting ready photos- and Kristy got ready at the Springhill Suites hotel in Jackson Hole. Later, we met at Schwabacher Landing for the ceremony. That was where to magic really happened! Kristy walked down the path with her dad and her sweet little girl to her soon to be husband, and we all teared up!
After the ceremony we spent some time capturing their couples portraits and just embracing the fact that they were finally husband and wife! It was such a beautiful day, and once the sun went down all of our Arizona blood turned cold real fast. I am all for a good adventure, but it only takes a sunset for me to realize how spoiled I am by Arizona winters!
