Sedona is known as a place of healing, and a place of peace. Which makes it the perfect place to document new beginnings. When Travis reached out about doing his engagement photos in the red rocks I knew I had the perfect place to do so. Crescent Moon Ranch is absolutely beautiful, with views of the red rocks in the distance and a cute little flowing creek throughout the hike.
As we hiked through the Sedona landscape Travis let me in on a secret they had been keeping, his soon to be wife was pregnant with their first baby. Making this session feel extra special- plus I love a good secret. They were traveling to another state for the actual elopement, so I knew I had to give them the engagement session of their dreams in their home state.
They ran through the brushy grass, danced with Cathedral Rock in the background, and we milked every minute of light up until sunset.
